Welcome!Blue Mountain Cottages offer you luxury accommodation amidst good old-fashioned farm life in New Zealand; just five minutes from Te Anau. This is great family accommodation. There is plenty of room for children to run around safely and animals to enjoy. Jayden, our 8 year old son, is our greatest ambassador! He loves to take visiting children under his wing and show them around the property and animals and entertain the children while their parents unpack, relax and enjoy a glass of wine on the verandah. Phil and Fiona’s passion is self sufficiency, hunting, cooking and gardening. Homemade baking is in the cottage upon your arrival. This 20 acre property is intensively farmed, producing beef, lamb, pork/bacon, eggs, milk and vegetables. Phil hunts wild deer in the Fiordland mountains and venison steaks are available for you to cook on the barbecue. Fresh vegetables and home grown meat are available in season.
