Lodge & Cottage Style Accommodation
The Lodge
Blue Mountain Lodge offers you high quality farmstay Lodge style accommodation on a small working farm just five minutes from Te Anau.
If you are visiting Fiordland, walking the tracks or making the trip to world renowned Milford Sound, stay with us and experience true Southern Hospitality at its best.

The Cottages
Blue  Mountain Cottages are self-contained, offering a double and a twin  room. A third bed can be put in the twin bedroom to accommodate a small  child. The cottages offer electric blankets, laundry facilities and a  barbecue.
Enjoy your evenings sitting out on the verandah watching the sun set over the Fiordland National Park or wander down to the Waiau River in the evening to watch the fish rise freely to the caddis hatch.
We strive to be as self sufficient as possible, and produce our own beef, mutton/lamb, pork/bacon, eggs and milk, and have a bountiful vegetable garden which we are happy to share with guests.
Our farmstay property is on the edge of the Fiordland National Park and is very close to the Waiau Rivier, renowned for brown and rainbow trout.
We are very conveniently located if you are planning to visit Milford Sound!

Are you walking the Kepler Track?
If you stay two nights with us we will deliver you to the start of the Track, and collect you again at the end and you can leave your car on our property, where it will be a lot safer than in a public car park. When you arrive back at the Cottage, freshly baked scones will be waiting for you to devour. All for no extra charge.

I have an intimate knowlege of this area, having lived and worked  in DOUBTFUL SOUND, STEWART ISLAND, THE MILFORD TRACK and I have hiked  all the GREAT WALKS and many other tracks.
